Employment

We are always looking for great people to join us and expand or accelerate our activities. We offer a stimulating environment for engineers and physicists who are interested in using their skills in the biological research and biotechnology fields.

The kind of people we are looking for are fearless and have the skills and work habits to back it up. If you are the kind of person who sees solutions where others only see problems and then follows through and implements the solution, please contact us.

Our work typically starts very early in the project when the only thing that is known is that a researcher wants to do something and doesn't know how to get it done, the classic clean sheet of paper situation.

For TEC to be successful, we need people who have many of the following skills and traits.

  • Highly creative and well grounded in the fundamentals of physics and engineering
  • Very curious about how things work
  • Good writing and communication skills (one on one with colleagues and collaborators [biologists, MDs], papers, grants, presentations)
  • Experience in, and/or a STRONG desire to learn about instrumentation design, optics, fluidics, MEMS and nanotechnology,
  • A desire to learn more about biology and medicine, and
  • The ability to integrate ideas and apply them to create solutions that are by no means readily apparent to most people

We are looking for good people and have a great deal of flexibility regarding the experience level of the bright people we hire. We are looking for:

  • Students doing research for their theses
  • New and recent graduates
  • Experienced engineers and physicists at all levels.

If you are interested please send your resume via email. Give us a week and then feel free to follow up via telephone.
